Today as I listened to Exodus chapter 19, I was struck by the stark difference of those who worshipped God in the old Testament and those who worship Him now. I found myself experiencing a fresh wave of gratitude for the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross. Because of what He has done, I can draw near to God. Because of what He has done, I do not have to stand afar off, afraid that I would be struck with death if I have forgotten or disobeyed a commandment. Because of the blood and sacrifice of Jesus, I can come boldly into His presence to obtain grace and mercy in my time of need. (Hebrews 4:16).
I then found myself impressed with Mount Sinai who stood as the glory of the Lord descended on it, even though it greatly quaked, shook and smoked. I then heard the revelation reverberate inside me. “Whatever God has made will bear His glory”. I leapt off my bed to find my pen. I had to write this revelation! It was such an awe inspiring revelation that Mount Sinai bore the glory of God though it quaked and shook because God had created it to do so!
I asked the Lord for further revelation and the next part was more sombre. The Lord said “Whatever I have made will bear my glory. Be it for uplifting or destruction; my glory will be seen”. The destruction of the wicked and all of the creations of God that went astray and rebelled came to mind and I felt profound sombreness and sorrow. This was never God’s desire for His creation to be judged and destroyed because of rebellion but He is just and righteous, so He MUST destroy rebellion. The good news is, He STILL made a way to escape His ultimate judgement. JESUS!
Whether for uplifting or destruction, ALL of God’s creation will glorify Him. If you have received Him, if you have repented and turned to Him, He will be glorified in your salvation and uplifting. If you have not yet received Jesus, the sacrifice and payment for your sins, today is your day. (Hebrews 3:15).
This message is true, and the revelation is from the Holy Spirit. Call upon the name of the Lord and you shall be saved! (Acts 2:21). If this word resonates with you there is still time for your life to bear the glory of God through your salvation and uplifting, and His name is JESUS. Pray the prayer below with me.
Lord Jesus, I confess you are Lord. I ask you to forgive me of my sins. I choose to change my mind of rebellion towards you. I choose to receive your sacrifice for my rebellion. I choose to accept your finished work on the cross for me. I choose you. I confess you are my Lord and Saviour. Come into my heart and my life. Turn my life into a living testimony and may I bear your glory forever. In Jesus name. Amen
If you prayed the prayer above, please reach out to me. I don’t have anything to send you or for you to buy from me. I only want to answer any questions you may have and walk beside you on this journey of faith towards our Lord and Saviour and our eternal home in glory. May the Lord bless and keep you. May His face shine upon you. May the Lord grant you abundant peace, rest and healing and may He be glorified in your life, the lives of your loved ones and in everything you do in Jesus name. Amen.
